The preliminary results of the project were presented In Session 1 - "What is the (decentralized) energy supply of tomorrow?"
The solution of the future energy supply as a decentralized system was discussed. Electric energy and heat are becoming more and more frequently supplied directly on site from solar power on the roofs or from basements. Renewable energy cooperatives provide benefit to all included parties. To support the theory, practical cases and projects from Thuringia were presented. In the discussion, good practices and opportunities for enhancement were highlighted.
As one of the successful projects of waste heat recovery in Thuringia, the CE-HEAT project was presented by Anton Wetzel (ThEGA).
