Waste heat recovery opportunities in Friuli Venezia Giulia

On May 24th 2018, APE FVG met in Udine local stakeholders and companies in order to share with them the last outcomes of CE-HEAT project and to discuss about waste heat recovery opportunities laying down a regional energy strategy endorsing WH.
The cadaster set up in Friuli Venezia Giulia was presented: it shows the high potential of this source, whose internal and external utilization will lead to energy efficiency and, in some cases, also to a new business model. In other cases, WH recovery needs a subsidy policy in order to become more affordable: the goal of the policy strategy is to help potential users plan new investments in this field.
All the participants were very interested in project outputs and cooperative in policy discussion.
