HUNGARY

Traditional & Natural Small-sized House Models

Sustainable, environmentally conscious, health-oriented lifestyles have been becoming increasingly important today. This lifestyle includes recycling, saving energy, buying green and organic products, choosing environmentally friendly transport and travel alternatives, and taking a general approach to environmentally conscious behaviour.

With their product, organizers would like to emphasize the importance of the tradition of Hungarian folk architecture and the protection of cultural heritage. The creation of the dollhouse as an innovative local product has always been one of the old desires of Pannon Project Regional and Human Development Co..

They collect donations for the development and the realization of a unique doll house that is completely different from the usual. By doing so, they want to target people who are susceptible to tradition and aspire to a more natural life, who can also partly acquire knowledge through their involvement in construction.

The first idea is to serve the importance of play and, above all, parent-child play. After all, playing together brings joy, tightens the parent-child relationship, and enhances the sense of security. An indispensable scene for role-playing games. Children learn about the world, their environment, the properties of objects, and community life through toys. Through the game, they acquire many skills and competences, and the game is the best way to relieve tension and relieve anxiety. They develop their fine motor skills through a series of movements such as removing the baby's clothes, dressing the baby, combing the hair of the baby, buttoning the baby's clothes. The game improves the language skills. They practice the behaviour of the mother. He / she learns the ability to care and develops his/ her empathy. It helps to process the strong emotions that are inside the child, as well as the rushing world around us.

After the idea was born and the values to be conveyed by Pannon Project Regional and Human Development Co. had been made, plans and sketches for the small traditional house and dollhouse were completed. The product can be assembled using DIY technique. The authentic dollhouse is about 47 cm long, about 25 cm wide, and about 28 cm tall. It can be opened in three places, the door is fitted to the facade of the house with a decorative hinge. The product is a great toy both on the table and on the ground due to its small size and friendly appearance. The package contains the main elements: pieces of interior furniture that can be assembled, as well as the decorative textiles.

The Hill Sheperd Circle in Oszkó has been working to rescue wine cellars near the settlementfor several decades. The result of many years of work is the creation of a knowledgeable professional team alongside the beautiful cellars on the hill. The association has established partnerships with other organizations working to save traditional architecture. In 2017, the Central Directorate of the Hungarian Country Houses was established. The cooperation plays an important role in the transfer and preservation of folk architectural knowledge.

The big goal for the next few years for the organizers is to build a "Traditional Architectural Documentation Library" as they would like to pass on and retain all the know-how to the future generations.

The document library will be a comprehensive collection of the traditional architectural knowledge. Organizers would like to record folk architecture with video footages. Even in the field of ethnography, it is of paramount importance to preserve the ancient knowledge still available today. After all, the 24-hour theory is true this case, as well, and as long as there is the opportunity to reach the last representatives of the crafts and pass on their knowledge to youths, they want to do so.

They are collecting money for:

• finding masters,
• video recording,
• video editing,
• publishing a document library, creating a website,
• developing curriculum.

Regio Earth - Central & Eastern European Festival of Earthen Architecture 2020

The REGIO EARTH Central and South-Eastern European Festival of Earth architecturewas created to re-focus and popularize the adobe. It is possible to overthrow false images of clay and straw mortar wallsfor the public. The festival is an annual event on clay-based architecture, construction, design and the arts. Our objective is to find effective ways to integrate seemingly disappearing architectural forms into contemporary construction.Reaching a wide audience can be a huge benefit of the event, and we want to promote natural building materials and building with them.

With their campaign, organizers want to prepare for the organization of this year's event. With your support, you can even ensure your participation in the festival, moreover, you can give a chance to pay more attention to professionalism.

Nowadays, environmental sustainability aspects cannot simply be ignored either humanly or economically. Clay and straw mortar as a building material is a contemporary technical solution to problems without compromise.

Designing healthy homes is of paramount importance to everyone, for which natural building materials, such as straw and clay mortar, can provide the most obvious answer. This old proven building material is very underrepresented in modern society. Many old fake clichés have been associated with it and today the productive building materials industry is not geared to producing natural materials. For the first time, it took place in Oszkó, Hungary in 2017. The next festival took place in Buzad village, in Banat region of Romania in 2018, and the third one in Mosorin village, in Serbia in 2019. The development of the event is well illustrated by the fact that, for the first time in Hungary, there were 20 professional organizers, performers and 50 paying participants, only one of the families came from abroad; while a 50-member professional crew and about 100 paying visitors from 30 different countries participated in the last festival in Serbia. They arrived from for example, from India, through Finland, to Chile.

The campaign organizers are collecting money for:

•    remuneration of international professional speakers (travel expenses, meals, accommodation, honorary fees)
•    food and accommodation
•    land usage fee
•    raw materials
•    tool rental and purchase
