In this news article we present a selection of our implemented test cases . COVID-19 has challenged us a lot but we are very happy to inspire you: cooperation between CCI and industrial companies set up and youngsters were activated to showcase their cultural and creative talents!
HACKATHON
- Creative Region Linz & Upper Austria
The NOVA ZONE in the Grand Garage Linz was playground for creatives, students and pupils who came to find innovative and creative solutions for the challenges of Vossen, LIWEST and KTM ranging from circular economy in terry cloth production, urban e-mobility and 5G applications. The participants formed seven hacker teams and for three days put all their energy into developing their ideas from scratch to a presentable concept. The teams were supported by facilitators who helped in methodical questions and never ran out of an extra portion of motivation for the participants. All teams worked until the end of the hackathon and presented unexpected solutions, all to the surprise of the companies! All of this in roughly 48 hours - we are amazed by the results of these days together and thank everyone who was part of it!

- Regional Development Agency in Bielsko-Biala
Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. w Bielsku-Białej united IT creatives and industrial companies for the 2nd time in a Hackathon. The challenge was published at the beginning of the hackathon, so the chances for prototyping were equal for everyone. During these 24 hours of coding teams had access both to technical as well as content experts and mentors. At the end winning teams got the chance to further develop the project in cooperation with the company.
CLEVER GAME - Micro Region Sokolov-East
Microregion Sokolov - East (Czech Republic) used Design Thinking for creating three educational escape games together with pupils of three regional high schools. The video showcases this process which raised awareness on CCI via info workshops and a quiz. Design Thinking as a method (and its 5 phases) is extensively introduced to the youngsters before they implemented it theirselves when designing the games during three online workshops. Additionally a virtual study tour and an online public presentation ensured the introduction of CCI opportunities to the future generation!
Theatre Storytelling - Chamber of Commerce Padova
The Padova Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Prof. Fabrizio Panozzo of the Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, the Teatro Stabile del Veneto and the partnership with professional theatre companies is bringing the methods of theatre storytelling to 5 industrial companies of the Veneto region. They want to enhance places and business activities through the collaboration between traditional companies and CCI together developing an innovative theatrical performance.
Kulturkafé - Business support centre Kranj
As part of the KULTURKAFÉ test case our Slovenian partner Regionalna razvojna agencija Gorenjske - BSC Kranj, young photographers and painters created motifs associated with the iron tradition in Jesenice industrial area. The creations of young masters were on display at a promotional event (July 3, 2021) when the Upper Sava Museum of Jesenice celebrated its 70th anniversary.
