RAINMAN: Kick-Off
Vienna, Austria - 4th - 5th October 2017
The RAINMAN partnership came together for two days to finally launch the project and present first activities. A Scoping-Workshop in which external experts presented good-practise examples on heavy rain risk assessment and mapping was linked to the event. Together with the experts the RAINMAN project partners discussed approaches for the pilot activities in the project areas. Further sessions during the Kick-Off Meeting covered presentations and discussions about risk reduction measures, the concept of the RAINMAN-Toolbox as a main output of the project as well as communication and management activities.
