The COMODALCE project at the BLUE ECONOMY SUMMIT 2020

On July 2th 2020, the port of La Spezia presented its activities within the COMODALCE project at the event BLUE ECONOMY SUMMIT 2020 in Genoa.
Blue Economy Summit 2020 is a national event dedicated to the great opportunities given by the maritime sector for growth and development of the territories, employment and permanent professional training.
The third edition, from June 29th to July 3rd, focused on how to restart and develop the main assets of the sea economy after the COVID -19 emergency. During the overall week conferences, round tables, interviews and talk shows were broadcasted in live streaming,
Within the “Blue Innovation 2nd Session: the innovation in ports and dry ports” (It. “Seconda sessione: L’innovazione nel porto e retroporto”), Eng. Federica Montaresi, head of Special Projects, Innovation and Institutional Relations at the Port Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea, presented the main innovative projects of port of La Spezia in the field of digitalization of the procedures along the logistics chain. Among them, a specific focus on COMODALCE pilot project of the port of La Spezia was addressed with a great interest from the other relators of the session.
