Forget Heritage Info Day- ORIENTA MENTI

Orientamenti (Orientations, sense of direction in english, in italian a pun between the word “orienta”, to orient, direct, advise and “menti”, minds) is the most important event on training offers from Genoa, Liguria Region and Italy and on guidance and “orientation” services in order to promote informed and conscious choices for students’ professional future.
Organized by ALFA, the Liguria regional agency for work, training and accreditation (Agenzia regionale per il Lavoro la Formazione e l'Accreditamento), promoted by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, the Regional Scholastic Office for Liguria (peripheral organ of the Education Ministry), the Liguria Region, the University of Genoa, the Genoa Chamber of Commerce, the Metropolitan City of Genoa and the Municipality of Genoa, it will take place with the whole area of Porto Antico from 14 to 16 November 2016.
The program and exhibitors are organized in four areas:
- 1) know yourself
- 2) know educational opportunities
- 3) know the labour market
- 4) know the society.
Orientamenti is also a place to get to know and enhance students’ talents, through the “Notte dei Talenti” (Night of talents) event (here the 2017 edition), the second edition of WorldSkills Liguria, the local edition for the international competition dedicated to the dual education dual education (https://www.worldskills.org/) and the workshops on the eight key competences indicated by the European Union.
Registered at the European Vocational Skills Week 2018 (https://ec.europa.eu/social/vocational-skills-week/evsw2018_en), Orientamenti is enriched by the presence simultaneously of the International Career Day (http://www.orientamento.liguria.it/om/career-day/) -with new proposals for the young people professional future - and of the Forum Internazionale sull’Orientamento (International Forum on Orientation, https://www.studenti.unige.it/forumorientamento/).
In this context, Forget Heritage project will be present at the De Amicis library, Magazzini del Cotone, on 15th November 2018 with the Genoa 3rd Local Info Day, with the aim of promoting the role of cultural heritage managers, within the Private and Public Cooperation synergies between Public Administration and CCIs. The project will bring in particular the experiences achieved so far within the Pilot Action recently started in Genoa.
