White Paper as a result and a start of cooperation in Cultural Heritage

Synergies in three main areas indicated the gathering of nine EU funded projects to establish a collaboration to collect the added value of these project and compile them into a recommendation and a White Paper to EU Urban Agenda Partnership.

The White Paper analyses the current state of the general mindset about culture and cultural heritage and reveals the gaps and narrow directions in the consideration. Built heritage often overwhelms the other aspects of cultural heritage which is not only a mistake, but also a blocking the efforts to find efficient ways of the exploitation of cultural heritage. The White Paper explains and defines the complex phenomenon of cultural heritage and gathered input on how culture and cultural heritage contribute to sustainable, creative and circular cities. A Recommendation summarize the result of collaboration and clearly outlines the desired valorization of culture and cultural heritage.
