Second Capacity Building Session

13-14 March 2018, Zadar, Croatia

The second training of ROSIE RRI Experts is organized in Zadar, Croatia. The programme is comprised of three main modules:

Tuesday

  • 9.30 -10.30 - Interactive presentation on Responsible Innovation: Revising the concept and main dimensions of RI (EMFIE)
  • 10.30-12.00 - Introduction to the UNI/PdR 27:2017 guidelines: providing a management framework for RI. Aim, principles, implementation (with a focus on innovative SMEs), monitoring and control of UNI/PdR 27:2017. (LP CISE)
  • 12.30-14.00 - Group sessions: practicing the concept of UNI/PdR 27:2017 with RI Consultants (Facilitated by LP CISE)
  • 15.00-16.30 - Introducing the concept of STIR: Background and basic idea of STIR, STIR protocol questions and techniques, pre-study interview and post-study interview (Online training moderated by Prof. Dr. Erik Fisher, Arizona State University, USA)
  • 16.30-17.00 - STIR methodology in the business sector – How does STIR work among SMEs? (Online training moderated by Prof. Dr. Erik Fisher, Arizona State University, USA)


Wednesday

  • 9.30 -10.30 - Living Labs: Introducing, understanding and considering possible applications of Living Lab. Presentation on the concept, main target group. How can the concept be implemented in the innovation process of SMEs? How does the concept fit in the RI? - CCSS
  • 11.00-12.30 - Practicing the application of Living lab concept with RI Consultants: participants are working in groups (Moderated by CCSS) - exercises dealing with LL activities and indicators, some proved and well-known techniques such as critical thinking, visual thinking or brainstorming.
  • 13.30-15.00 - Group session: practicing the application of STIR with RI Consultants. Participants work in pairs/small groups testing the STIR methodology. (Moderated by EMFIE)
  • 15.30-17.00 - participants report back the results of group session and Prof. Dr. Erik Fisher, Arizona State University, USA will provide feedback to participants
  • 17.00-17.15 - Round up: discussing the next steps and deadlines
