Saxon Day of Telemedicine

Leipzig, 17th September 2018

Telemedicine helps in everyday life to bring together doctor and patient. This is crucial for a good and nationwide medical care in the country.

The Saxon Minister of State for Health and Social Affairs, Barbara Klepsch, would like to discuss the state of telemedicine in Saxony together with Stakeholders of the Healthcare Value Chain in Saxony.

Core questions to be discussed are:  How is it going? Which projects exist? What does the policy say? Where is there a need for action and what is happening at the federal level? To answer these and other questions, Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer and the Minister Minister of State, Barbara Klepsch, are pleased to welcome you at  Vital.Digital - Saxon day of telemedicine on the 17th of September 2018 in the Congress Hall at the Zoo in Leipzig. 

You are cordially invited to inform yourself about the challenges and opportunities of telemedicine and to bring in your questions and ideas from practice. The focus will be on issues such as the electronic health card, IT security, the everyday ability of telemedicine, funding opportunities or the development of innovative e-health services.

On this day, among others, the following people will discuss the topics with you: The State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Health Lutz Stroppe, the member of the Federal Board of the Federal Medical Association. Franz Joseph Bartmann, Managing Director of RISE F & E GmbH Thomas Grechenig, CEO of AOK PLUS Rainer Striebel and trend researcher Sven Gábor Jánzsky.
