OUTPUT
The video compiles material of all partner countries. The challenges and issues tackled during the project as well as the different types of disaster dealt with are presented. Climate change and related natural disasters which threaten our cultural heritage is outlined and approaches in order to strengthen the resilience are introduced. The WebGIS tool, decision support tool, Manual for Owners and Managers and video game are also promoted. The video shows segments of all the pilot exercises at the seven different pilot sites.

The final WebConference of the project ProteCHt2save will take place on 23 June, organized by the Municipality of Ferrara and ISAC-CNR with the support of Danube University Krems.

The Municipality of Kočevje, an active partner in the project ProteCHt2save, organized the sixth partner’s meeting in Kočevje. The project partners from seven participating countries joined the meeting, and visited the Regional Museum of Kočevje, participated in GIS tool workshop and visited the dam in Prigorica.

EVENT
The Disaster Management Department of Baranya County together with the Faculty of Health Sciences (University of Pécs) and the Police Department of Baranya County organized a complex joint exercise that focussed on the rescuing of both human lives and objects of cultural heritage sites. The two venues included the Early Christian Necropolis of Pécs and the Zsolnay Museum. Video: HERE and HERE

The Municipality of Kočevje together with the Regional Museum Kočevje conducted an evacuation exercise in the event of heavy rain. The exercise has improved the emergency preparedness for movable cultural heritage and at the same time raised the awareness on the importance of protecting the movable cultural heritage in case of natural disasters.

The main objective of the conference is to present the latest developments in the Interreg Central Europe project ProteCHt2save to European and local authorities and stakeholders, with special accent on experiences in historic Prague, and to present a perspective and experiences from the point of view of management of cultural heritage protection in the changing environment. The projects included in Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE work on closely related topics and challenges. Through their cooperation they contribute to making central Europe a better place to live and work in. The aim of crossfertilisation is to further coordinate and better sustain these outputs and results through exchanges between these projects. The event in Vienna specifically addresses beneficiaries who currently cooperate in projects of the 7 topics which are open in the fourth call for proposals. ProteCHt2save project was presented by Alessandra Bonazza on a poster (HERE).

Poviat Bielski organized the 4th project meeting in cooperation with the Regional Development Agency in Bielsko-Biala. The results of the project were presented with the summary of work being done, along with the planned future activities.
Finally, the partners were presented to the pilot site, a XVIth century historic church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Stara Wies, an old cemetery and a historic school building. During the visit, the parish priest, Grzegorz Then presented the problems encountered by the historic object and the hazards associated with intense rainfalls, which threatens this historic site.

CNR-ISAC is arranging its 1st Local Focus Group in the session Città e territori dinamici - La resilienza dal passato al futuro/Cities and dynamic territories - Resilience from the past to the future. ProteCHt2save is a partner of the Resilience Festival, Bologna, including for the first time the safeguarding of Cultural Heritage in the topic of the festival. This event is also included in the teaser event of the “European Night of Researcher 2018” funded by Project SOCIETY H2020-MSCA-NIGHT-2018/2019.
