Workshop "RTO ready for upgrade" in Altavilla Vicentina, Italy

The meeting organized by RIBES-NEST took place on July 16th 2018 at the premises of Fondazione CUOA, one of the most important management schools in Italy, located in Altavilla Vicentina, close to Vicenza.

RIBES-NEST is one of the fifteen Regional Innovation Networks recognized by the Veneto Region and all created in order to become among the most important players in the implementation of the Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy. The event was dedicated to the network partners, which, in total, involve twelve Researtch & Technology Organisations (RTOs) , of which six are official members, and 52 companies of which 48 official members. Globally, the RIBES-Nest members represent a turnover of almost 8 billion euros and 12,000 employees.

The event was an occasion for RIBES-NEST to share with its members the results of some collaborative projects they are implementing, the opportunities arising from national initiatives and some possible internal collaborations for the upgrading of the skills and competences of the members’ employees. 
In the second part of the workshop there was also the opportunity to present the KETGATE approach, showing the reasons that are at the basis of the KETGATE project and discussing with the participant about the model and the potential benefits for participating RTOs.
