NEW INITIATIVE FUNDED THROUGH SOLEZ

From home to work using and integrating with each other the different options available for own travels: from public transport to taxi, to sharing services. All using a simple app that allows to plan, book and pay for the trip.

It is the philosophy behind MaaS, a model whose acronym means Mobility as a service, which the City of Turin is preparing to experiment thanks to the collaboration activated in three European projects of which it is partner with 5T and Fondazione Torino Wireless: IMove, Solez and SumpsUp.

In this way the project intend to support and promote a new approach to mobility through incentives that encourage a greater use of shared individual means of transport and that facilitate the movements of people.

To do so, the City seeks a company in the Turin metropolitan area available to test the MaaS platform in real conditions and in a limited period of time with the aim of testing its feasibility and usefulness for its employees, through a living lab.

The City will invite companies equipped with a mobility manager and that, in the last 2 years, have formalized the movements of employees in a 'Home Work Trips Plan' - to participate in the 'Living Lab MaaS Torino'.
