Enhancing the Immaterial Cultural Heritage

Good practices and experiences of community involvement. Workshop of the project CULTURECOVERY.

On 8th of March (17:00 - 19:45), the 1st local workshop within the European project CULTURECOVERY was organized at Cervia's Public Library. The workshop is addressed to the ecomuseum facilitators working in the territory and interested towards the Salt Ecosumesum of Cervia.

The activities focused on two sessions: the first was on sharing and discussion of good practices experimented in other European countries by CULTURECOVERY partners on the enhancement of the intangible cultural heritage and replicability in the context of Cervia. The second part focused on the presentation of the workshop for the citizens of Cervia, to be held next March 24th, for the setting up of an action plan with which to launch the Register of Inheritance and Intangible Heritage of the City of Cervia (REIC) that was presented formally to the citizens on 10th of March

The session had been structured with the methodology of the World Cafè, whose basic principle is that of the circulation of ideas and the progressive confrontation of themes and working groups. For each group / theme, each table identified a referent spokesperson. At the tables, participants had available materials to be able to annotate their considerations. At the end of each discussion session, the spokesperson returned the table idea and suggestions.

The meeting had been managed and organized by the Cooperative Atlantide, engaged by the Municipality of Cervia for the technical activities of the CULTURECOVERY project.
