Presentation for school children in Slovenia
It is important to share knowledge and information with younger generations. We were invited together with partners from LIFE DINALP BEAR and LIFE Lynx project to present our experience with large carnivores to school children from Ljubljana, who spent a weekend in beautiful karst area Rakov Škocjan. This area is also a habitat of large carnivores, so they were eager to learn more about this topic. We presented them three Slovenian large carnivores; bear, wolf and lynx and the activities that we have to conserve and manage them in our country. One of the activities is also setting up camera traps, and we set one for ourselves and took group photo.
