Please note that the data you have provided to us are processed for the following purposes and on the following legal basis:

Purpose: Implementation, documentation and provision of information on EU-funding handled by Municipal Department MA 27 – European Affairs.

For this purpose, the personal data are transmitted to the following recipients:

  • European Commission
  • Auditing bodies of the European Union and the City of Vienna
  • Control bodies of the funding bodies and/or private-sector control bodies commissioned by these bodies 
  • Evaluators as processors appointed by the respective programme authority and/or the European Commission
  • Members of the respective programme monitoring committees 
  • European Anti Fraud Office (OLAF)
  • Other EU funded programmes in order to implement tasks linked to European anti-corruption policy and to make such data available to bodies and authorities for evaluation and monitoring purposes

Data are not transmitted to third countries (countries which are not members of the European Union). 

Notes: In compliance with the legal requirements of the Regulations (EU) No. 1303/2013 for the structural fund period 2014-2020 and (EU) No. 2021/1060 for the structural fund period 2021-2027, your personal data relating to EU-funded projects in the structural fund period 2014-2020 respectively 2021-2027 are deleted after the statutory retention period.  

You have a right to information concerning your own personal data, as well as a right to rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or to lodge a complaint against processing.

Moreover, we draw your attention to the fact that - should you revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data until the end of the statutory retention period for the purpose of expenditure control - you will be denied the related funding. If you believe that your rights are not observed, or not fully observed, you may file a complaint with the data protection authority.

The provision of personal data is a legal requirement, if you are thereby claiming the disbursement of funds. Providing personal data is required for the conclusion of a contract. Failure to provide the data would lead to: 

A refusal to grant contractual consent to the use of personal data and to obtaining such consent from all persons involved in the granted project for the purpose of verifying eligibility for funding would at any rate lead to the funding of personnel costs being denied. Dependent on the project structure, this may even include a revocation (cancellation) of the funding commitment.

2. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter the personal data you are providing are processed for the following purposes and on the following legal basis:

The personal data are not transmitted to third parties.

Personal data processed for the purpose mentioned above, will be secured until unsubscribing to our newsletter.

You have a right to information concerning your own personal data, as well as a right to rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or to lodge a complaint against processing. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a letter to the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, Kirchberggasee 33-35/11, A-1070 Vienna or an e-mail to info(at)interreg-central.eu, without affecting the lawfulness of processing executed due to the consent until revocation. In this case your images and recordings will not be used in future publications but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation. 

If you believe that your rights are not observed, or not fully observed, you may file a complaint with the data protection authority.

3. Photos, Video and Audio Recordings 

The Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme organises events and seminars. In the scope of the consent given by you, photos can be taken and video and audio recordings made. Please note that these data are processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

Purpose: documentation, information and/or communication of EU-funded projects and their implementation
Legal basis: consent given by you

For this purpose, these photos, video and audio recordings may be published in the following media: Print and digital media, including social media and websites.

Notes: The material used on websites and social media can be viewed throughout the world and not just in the European Union and that some overseas countries may not provide the same level of protection to the rights of individuals as EU legislation provides

Some images or recordings may be kept permanently once they are published and be kept as an archive of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme. The Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme has the obligation to keep its archive until the end of the statutory retention period.

Providing personal data of contact persons and/or persons in charge is required for the conclusion of a contract.

6. Cookies/Google Analytics
