BCT INCOS - the new version is working!

After trial period of functioning the BCT COMODALCE pilot (electronic platform for notification and management of rail traffic at BCT) prepared a new version of INCOS (1.8.18) offering new functionalities and facilities requested by users during the trial period.
BCT put in run ‘’e-mail notification module’’ which automatically sends out information of the progress, key activities and status changes in the entire process intermodal train service. Currently, users no longer need to be logged in to the platform to follow subsequent events on the computer screen. Information on the progress is sent to their e-mail addresses. The notification module can be personalized according to the needs of each user. They can decide what notification they want to receive and what not.
BCT prepared also two summary views gathering essential information loaded on the platform and presenting them in clear and vivid way on the computer screen.
The first is ‘’BCT rail service plan’’ showing time of planned service, present status and basic numbers. This view compiles a lot of data from various modules, therefore brings a great help in quick orientation about the status of the train at BCT.
The second one is ‘’BCT track view’’ giving the information about position of the wagons on rail tracks at BCT with their present status with information of the last and next operation planned. This view also allows quick orientation for shunting carriers and wagon owners on the present situations at BCT enabling them effective management of their rolling stock.
The last facility is automatic creation of shunting moves for rail shunting carriers which is just a simplification and process shortcut. This functionality will help them to proceed with their tasks in a easier and in more user friendly way.
BCT is still working on some more facilities and development as well as on system integration with more partners.
