The Merseburg Innovation Technology Center has successfully held the first of two German Capacity Building Seminars. The workshop “Potentials for Municipalities and Business Support Organisations (BSO)” took place on the 23rd of September in form of an online event.
The workshop “Potentials for Municipalities and Business Support Organisations (BSO)” welcomed different representatives of regional administration, business incubators and support structures. The main goals were e.g. to impart knowledge on the peculiarities of social enterprises and to generate an understanding of the common use of regional resources. The discussion revealed the supportive effect of building up free creative spaces and sharing experiences to gather a mutual understanding of social entrepreneurship. To bundle resources and use them efficiently, the development of central consultancy and coordination offices is desirable.
