Status quo and public perception on water use in 5 European FUAs
Background conditions related to circular water use
The CWC FUAs performed self-assessments about their background conditions related to circular water use. The assessment consists in 44 indicators that provide information, by means of charts, maps or tables on the following main topics related to water resource:
A. CLIMATE, ENVIRONMENT AND POPULATION
B. WATER RESOURCES
C. INFRASTRUCTURES
D. WATER CONSUMPTION
E. CLIMATE CHANGE
F. RULES, LAWS AND GOOD PRACTICES
A common baseline is essential to assess comparisons between different FUAs in Europe and to proper work together on the design of new water governance and intervention.
The attached documents can be used by other FUAs as a template to perform their own self-assessments.
