Further steps made within the INTENT project
The INTENT project has revived after the change in project management and the lead partner. All the project partners gathered again in a project meeting held in Brno, Czech Republic from 2nd to 3rd October to make a step further towards the project objectives.
An extensive overview of the present and future activities was made, a new timeline was set and milestones acordingly.
Project activities are now being focused mainly on the preparation of the research tools, namely questionnaires and methodology that will be used to conduct a cross national survey on stakeholder expectations from a patient centered model of care. Futhermore a strong focus is put on the preparation of health innovation and patient-centred cancer care indicator sets and their integration into online benchmarking tool. As well on a piloting process and local stakeholder panels, carried out in 5 pilot sites (Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia), which will result in change of management action plans by providing stakeholders' consensus on actions needed to enable an effective use of the new patient-centred model and guidelines.
