Round table discussion with the most important stakeholders of the region of Upper Austria took place on 27.11.2019
On November 27th a round table with the most important stakeholders of the region took place. Participants were as following:
- Managing director of Bad Zell health and wellness centre Lebensquell
- Managing director of tourism association Bad Zell
- Chairman of the Mühlviertler Alm Tourism Association
- Representatives of Business Upper Austria and thus the HealingPlacesProject.
The HealingPlaces project was presented and the aims were described by BIZ UP. In the first part of the meeting, work package "Environmental mapping and assessment" was the particular topic. The value of water as a resource and the need for careful use were discussed. Subsequently, the managin director of Bad Zell gave insights into the water resources from Bad Zell and discussed the further cooperation regarding data exchange. Subsequently, the topic was directed to the pilot action. Possible starting points and interesting cooperation opportunities were discussed. As there still was an ongoing merger between several tourism organizations taking place, the final decisions had to be postponed again. The new management for the new tourism association Mühlviertler Alm Freistadt was expected for the beginning of 2020, which is why a new appointment for February 2020 was fixed.
