ABOUT RESTAURA DURING THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN BLED

ICOMOS Slovenia and the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia and the Bled Cultural Institute organized the 3rd International Symposium on Cultural Heritage and Legal Issues. The symposium was held in Bled, between the 20th and 22nd September 2018 as one of the European Year of Cultural Heritage events. The symposium paid special attention to the participatory management of cultural heritage sites. During the Symposium Neva Makuc (ZRC SAZU) and Nataša Kolenc (Municipality of Nova Gorica) presented good practices and challenges in revitalization of cultural monuments based on project Restaura' s experience.

Neva Makuc focused on Cultural heritage and its revitalisation through public-private partership. Nataša Kolenc discussed the experiences in revitalisation of historical buildings through public-private partnership schemes on the case of the Rihemberk Castle.
