After 3 years of cooperation the SACHE project came to a successful end. The aim to develop local strategies and to initiate pilot actions in participating regions was fulfilled and we expect sustainability of actions in partner regions.

We are open to share our project outputs and experience to all interested public and experts and offer useful information on the SACHE platform. In case of any questions feel free to get in contact with the lead partner, we will be happy to share the knowledge gained thanks to the project support of the Interreg Central Europe programme.

The Pitching event was held on December 15th in Zagreb with more than 40 participant. Event had a goal to present the projects made in matching event to the policy creators as a reminder and in a way stakeholders’ needs research that collaborations are important from the very beginning so they would better understand the need of types of project for financing. 

It was also important to show to other stakeholder in culture and tourist industry as well as digital and creative SMEs how to improve digital projects for cultural heritage and what it takes to successful cross-sectoral collaboration.   

On 29th November 2021 ZICER has organized SACHE Matchmaking event. The Event has gathered more than 25 participants willing to collaborate. At the first part of event participants had opportunity to see and hear best examples of practices of recent successful Croatian collaborations between cultural institutions and digital/creative SMEs. The second part of the event was dedicated to developing new ideas. Through brainstorming session and interactive workshop digital/creative SMEs and cultural operators were creating new project ideas. At the end 7 ideas were developed.

Creating an enabling environment for cross-industrial spill-overs and localising the EU 2030 agenda for culture were the main topics of training sessions for Croatian policy makers and intermediaries organized by ZICER on 26th March. Win-win opportunities for stakeholder groups and budgetary and resource pooling via new collaborative models were presented to a policy makers and intermediaries. All participants agreed that it is necessary to define planning methods and implementation strategies.  

On 24th March ZICER organized online training (D.T2.3.2) for cultural operators and museums about heritage rich cities and industry 4.0 . On the second day, 25th March, the training module was about gamification and the cultural industry. Cultural operators were discussing  the new role of museums and cultural institutions in a Smart City as well as sources of competitive advantage and value-added growth models. Speaking about gamification, the participants were introduced to mixed reality technologies and were able to see examples of how new technologies can be used to create new niches in the cultural industry. 

On 17th and 18th March 2021, ZICER organized online training (D.T2.3.4) with representatives of creative industries and SMEs. The first module was talking about developing an audience in the cultural industry. In the second module participants were discussing about digital transformation and maturity assessment and design thinking and strategy adaptation models related to transformation of museums. The participants were very interested in all topics. This brainstorming session came up with great new different solutions about innovation and digitalization of cultural institutions.

On 26th and 27th January ZICER organized SACHE Conference Innovative practices of Cultural Heritage and Creative Entrepreneurship and Brainstorming Accelerator where diverse partners discussed about the possibilities for creative entrepreneurship.

On the first day, the Conference has gathered more than 70 participants willing to see and hear best examples of practices of recent creative entrepreneurship projects which all have demonstrated a high level of proficiency and standards of their projects. The second day was dedicated to a brainstorming session and interactive workshop.

On December 9th, FVGAR organized, in an online format, the local co-creation course of the SACHE project. CCIs, cultural operators and policy makers have been involved in the workshop.

In the first part of the event, FVGAR introduced the SACHE project and the upcoming activites scheduled for the territory; in the second part of the event the participants shared their point of view and their suggestions on the possible strategies to improve the cooperation between CCIs and cultural heritage sites.   

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region has organized online local event where the contributions collected from the local stakeholders during the previous world cafè event, for the improvement of the SACHE Strategy and of the new strategy “Slow Aquileia” for the Archaeological Area of Aquileia, has been presented and will be now shared with the partnership of the SACHE project, for the implementation of a new model for the valorization of the cultural heritage in the Central Europe Area”. 

Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia has organized the World Cafè of the SACHE project, in an innovative online format. More than 50 local stakeholders have been involved and discussed on the new strategy for the development of a new HUB for cultural and creative industries in the Archaeological Site of Aquileia. The stakeholders proposed new ideas and debated over possible instruments, obstacles, advantages and disadvantages of the cooperation between cultural heritage institutions and CCIs.

Zicer's SACHE online local event gathered 5 experts from the cultural & creative sector to discusse about SACHE strategy. They have emphasized how the recession is affecting arts and culture in terms of funding, what innovative approach to tackle this situation EU can do, what is the role of digital transformation and new business models coming along with social changes and raise of people awareness.

In cooperation with the City municipality of Maribor the Maribor Development Agency has organized a World Café event for representatives of cultural and creative industries. The participants agreed that it is necessary to provide more networking events between both sectors and to foster their collaboration with appropriate supporting services. They have defined several obstacles that have hindered them so far: a lack of time and finances, a lack of knowledge and information, unconsciousness and unawareness.

The World Café event with 20 creative professionals, cultural institutions, representatives of the City and high-tech SME’s was organized by the Innovation Centre in Zagreb. Overall, all participants see benefits as outcome of cooperation between the enterprises and Cultural Assets/Heritages. The key challenge is communication and information flow which can be enhanced for both sides. Sharing information, different workshops, capacity building events and training could help to overcome obstacles and build trust between partners and establish more cooperating relationships.

The event was organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya (CCIPB). Most of the participants have agreed that a cooperation between the enterprises and Cultural Assets/Heritages is a perfect way for appearance, and has good PR value. Also, the communication and information flow between the two parties can have advantages for both sides. Evolving trainings, building trust between each other and establishing, widening relationships is essential for excellent operation not only between the two actors, but for their own operation, as well.

Technology park Ljubljana has organised a transnational workshop exploring innovative trends for the valorisation of cultural assets. The workshop has offered new perspective of the integration of cultural heritage in the local economy by strengthening the awareness of its value for businesses in general and the creative economy in particular. During the workshopr speakers have discussed the hypothesis and the aims of the project and provided comments based on good practices from Slovenian and other central European regions. 

Public and private sector partners in the field of creative industries, culture and development institutions shared their expectations, reviewed the project objectives and outputs as well as discussed planned project activities concerning the Smart Accelerators of Creative Heritage Entrepreneurship.

The meeting was hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craft and Agriculture of Venice Rovigo (lead partner in the project).
