Stakeholder Workshop Poland (PP 4)
The meeting was held in Starachowice city on the 23rd of September in a stationary form and there was an opportunity to participate in an online form (two-way communication). The meeting was attended by 8 stakeholders on site and about 20 online. The workshops started with the introduction of all participants. Then the program was presented according to the agenda. The TEACHER-CE project was presented - general information, partnership, goals and main results. Then the risks and benefits of climate change in the context of the Kamienna River catchment area were presented as well as examples of adaptation of rainwater management to climate change in Warsaw. Next, tools for urbanized areas (RAINMAN, PROLINE-CE) and for other areas (SUSTREE, FRAMWAT) were presented. The presentations were followed by a discourse on the practical use of the proposed tools in the Kamienna river basin, during which comments on the possibility of using them in pilot catchments were exchanged.
At the end, the meeting was summarized and participants were asked to fill in a survey on the quality of the meeting and the information provided.
