3rd Partner Meeting in Prague

A further international meeting of the Urban Green Belts project partners, funded from the Interreg Central Europe transnational cooperation program, took place at the Pyramida Hotel in Prague 6 on September 18-20. This was the third meeting of representatives of partner organizations within the project.

The aim of the talks was to summarize the progress of the project within the five months since the last April meeting in Maribor, in particular the presentation and discussion of the pilot events of the partners from Budapest, Maribor, Padua, Zadar and Krakow. During the presentation, all participants in the meeting should not only have a detailed understanding of the pilot activities of the individual partners, but also comment and make recommendations to improve and streamline these pilot projects.

"We are delighted that our partners supported us in the intention of our pilot project to build a therapeutic garden for a wide range of people in Prague 6, which is currently missing," said Jaromír Vaculík, deputy mayor of Prague 6.

Part of the meeting was also a discussion about the organization of study visits of individual partners within the thematic working groups, Prague 6 will take part in study visit to Budapest during November 2017. "Study tours are an excellent way to bring together project activities with examples of good practice at of our partners, "said Mr. Taptič, the 6th district of Prague Municipality project manager.
