FHV pilot and project outputs presented at BIFOCAlps final conference
The final BIFOCAlps conference, held in Dornbirn (AT) at 18th September 2018, gathered the growing community of researchers, local authorities, industrialists, engineers and practitioners to share their insights, practices, projects and case studies that address the implications of the Factory of the Future and the currents state of knowledge for boosting innovation potentials through micro and macro perspective. The conference included regional representatives, who participated in panel sessions on three thematic areas - Boosting Innovation in a Factory of the Future, Process and Service Design to boost innovation in a Factory of the Future, and Data Science as trigger to boost innovation in a Factory of the Future.
FHV representatives participated at the BIFOCALps final conference to discuss innovation opportunities of the Factory of the Future. FHV contributed to the conference’s thematic focus – Process and Service Design to boost innovation in a Factory of the Future, by presenting URBAN INNO project and outputs of FHV’s pilot for boosting urban innovation potentials on regional level.
The correlations between urban innovation capacities and the future of industrial production has been discussed, indicating collaborative potentials as a specific tool for utilizing effects of such interrelatedness for establishing a sustainable urban infrastructure. Establishing strong networking channels and future collaboration opportunities, in an interdisciplinary and a wide transnational context, was additional precedence of the participation at the conference.
