Hartberg-Pinkafeld urban innovation network established

The Launch Event of the Pinkafeld-Hartberg quadruple-helix urban innovation (4UI) network took place on the 17th January 2018 at the municipal hall of the City Pinkafeld, Burgenland, AT. It was held together with an outreach event of the Smart City Pinkafeld project, both hosted by Forschung Burgenland GmbH. The events gathered 20 attendees from different stakeholder groups.

During the 4UI-helix launching event Mr. Christoph Urschler (TBH Ingenieur) presented the purpose of the future cooperation, introduced the main targets and illustrated the upcoming activities of 4UI network to the participants from business sector and civil society. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the 3 key-core team members of the network - Forschung Burgenland, EcoSmart and TBH Ingenieur. The formal beginning of the the Pinkafeld-Hartberg 4UI-helix network announced the first steps in its main objectives achievement, with special focus on development of a renewable energy and environment exchange platform, public involvement and sustainable economy.
