URBAN INNO workshop at Opelivinglab Days 2017
In collaboration with Krakow Technology Park and several local stakeholders and sponsors, European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) organized an annual conference and networking event of the international living labs network- Opelivinglab Days 2017, in Krakow, Poland, from 29th August to 1st September 2017. The 4-days event gathered more than 300 researchers and practitioners from all over the world in order to exchange their experiences in citizen-driven innovation and open innovation in several fields. It was a very compelling event to present the local URBAN INNO activities, in particular highlighting the citizen-driven vocation of URBAN INNO project.
The URBAN INNO workshop, held on 31st of August 2017, has been attended by 20 researchers that followed the presentations by Marco Combetto from Informatica Trentina (IT) and Magdalena Cholewa from Kielce Technology Park (PL). The two local pilots (Trento and Kielce) were also briefly presented, as examples on how different scenarios could be diverse, even if the participatory methodologies and tools are the same.
The objective of the workshop was to arouse participants’ feedback on URBAN INNO project actions, especially to find out if the challenges of URBAN INNO in the Central Europe are similar to the ones from the outside, particular on another continents. The workshop was wrapped up with successful interaction in-between presenters and audience, which brought out interesting opinions, gathered to be used in further project improvement.
