WORLD WATER DAY CELEBRATED WITH PUBLIC CONSULTATION IN SPLIT
WORLD WATER DAY March 22, 2021: PUBLIC CONSULTATION WORKSHOP HELD IN SPLIT
CWC project partners PI RERA S.D. and VIK Split jointly celebrated World Water Day 2021 with an aim to advocate the importance of this valuable resource and raise awareness on sustainable development. “Public consultation workshop” was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, alerting the students to this theme and what they can do to better protect this vital resource.
Assistant professor Ivo Andrić, PhD used the opportunity to present the CWC project and the results of the Pilot action of Smart measurement of water consumption in real time, installed at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy in Split. After the presentation, students were invited to solve a quiz via QR code with questions about water efficiency, grey water and rainwater. CWC promotional materials were distributed to the students, to raise their awareness and promote EU funding opportunities.
