"CELL LASERS" AS A NEW WAY TO BE IMPLANTED INTO HUMAN BODIES
The aim of the project, called "Cell Lasers" is to study the interactions between lasers inserted into individual cells and biological processes in cells. The team has recently been the first to implant laser into a live human cell. All research to the date shown that lasers work in cells, but not how the action of lasers is related to biophysical and biochemical processes in the cell. The Cell Lasers project will transform the lasers in cells into a powerful technique that will have applications in research and medicine.
