The City of Osijek was once again the host of the 17th Natural Gas, Heat and Water Conference, and the 10th International Natural Gas, Heat and Water Conference, which was held from 25th to 28th of September. The Conference gathered more than 350 participants from all three sectors, including SMEs, large corporations, higher education institutions, local and regional authorities.

The participants arrived not only from Croatia, but also from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, and Serbia. The scientific quality of the conference was guaranteed by the fact that most speakers were renowned professors from Croatia and abroad. Furthermore, successful entrepreneurs presented their extensive experience in the area of gas, energy, heat, and water supply.

This year, Ivan Štefanić, prof., PhD, director of TERA Tehnopolis d.o.o., presented the topic of Assisted transfer of key enabling technologies for sustainable, competitive and energy- and resource efficient industry in EU as well as the results and opportunities provided by the KETGATE and invited all the interested relevant stakeholders to join the project.
