3D printing supporting the fight against Covid-19 pandemic

Global pandemic of the Covid-19 virus seriously disrupted the supply chains of different industries all over the world. This was also the case with a Northern Italian hospital that lost the supplies of valves for reanimation devices, and the supplier could not get any more of them in a short time. Then a few people and additive manufacturing technology rose to the occasion. The information about this critical situation spread and a company called Isinnova responded for help through its Founder & CEO Cristian Fracassi, who brought a 3D printer directly to the hospital and, in just a few hours, redesigned and then produced the missing piece.
