Canadian Innovation for 3D medical aids - Key to success lies in collaboration
A key to success for many innovations lies in collaboration. To make a step forward in 3D medical aids, doctors in Canada arranged a collaboration with the University of Health Network's Peter Munk Cardiac Centre. They are creating 3D life-size models of heart mimics, spines, and other body parts that is giving doctors a better pre-operative preparation and a better understanding of a patient's condition.
