AMIIGA at AquaConSoil 2019, Antwerp, Belgium

AMIIGA was present and visible at AquaConSoil 2019 Sustainable Use and Management of Soil, Sediment and Water Resources 15th International Conference | 20–24 May 2019 | Antwerp, Belgium

AquaConSoil conference is held every 2 years and it gathers specialists from research, administration, business and many other sectors all over the Europe and the World. AquaConSol is a top cyclic conference for presentation of project being focused on groundwater contamination issues.

AMIIGA project manager Grzegorz Gzyl from Lead Partner Institution – Central Mining Institute, Katowice, Poland have participated in AquaConSoil 2019 conference with two presentations prepared within AMIIGA partnership:

1. the oral presentation entitled: “A management strategy to deal with soil and groundwater contamination” prepared by Sandra Vasin and Hermann Josef Kirchholtes from  City of Stuttgart (DE) as well as Grzegorz Gzyl from Central Mining Institute, Katowice (PL)

2. the poster presentation entitled: “AMIIGA project as an example of advanced investigation, assessment and remediation of groundwater contamination crossing the urban areas and adjacent hinterlands” prepared by Grzegorz Gzyl from Central Mining Institute, Katowice (PL), Petr Kohout from Forsapi Ltd. (CZ), Sandra Vasin from  City of Stuttgart (DE), Donata Balzarolo from Lombardy Region (IT), Marco Ghirardi from Municipality of Parma (IT), Joerg Prestor from Geological Survey of Slovenia (SI) and Goran Gjetvaj from University of Zagreb (HR)
