The second RIG workshop in Parma

On the 29th of June 2018, at the Municipality of Parma, the second RIG workshop was held for the discussion about the draft of the Management Plan.

The Municipality of Parma showed to the rapresentatives of local authorities, stakeholders and partners the final results about the contaminatio of PCE, obtained by the fourth sampling campaign in the pilot site of P.le Santa Croce.

In reference to the draft of the Management Plan two theories were supposed for the explanation,  and the following procedure of the contamination, and that are: diffuse contamination or distincs sites of contamination (there are two main sites with high pollution values). In accordance with the partecipants, it was opted to follow the theory of diffuse contamination. Furthermore it is necessary to continue the monitoring of the contamination in the monitoring web of the pilot site.

For the continuation of the remediation procedure, according to the Local Authorities Planning Conference, its will need the funds by the Municipality of Parma and the possible experiences sharing with others local Authorities.
