The 2nd AMiCE - Partner Meeting in Liberec on the 5th and 6th of June 2018 was characterized by an intensive cooperation. Representatives of all project partners came to inform themselves about the progress of the project and to coordinate the further joint action. The focus of the meeting was the development and concretization of the appropriate strategy for the support of the economically sustainable use of additive manufacturing and circular economy processes in the project regions.
An essential tool in this process will be a knowledge sharepoint. The aim here is to make decision-relevant knowledge available on an online platform in such a way that potential users with different background knowledge can make a fundamental decision on the applicability of these technologies for the production of their own products or in their own technological processes. The platform should not stand alone but be supported by Face 2 Face events. In the cooperative process, the following goals of the platform were elaborated:
Motivate and interest companies
Providing a technological overview
Providing a basis for self-analysis for potential users regarding the opportunities and potential of these technologies within their own organization
to link the local AMiCE experts for further support in the design of the process
The event, held at the Technical University of Liberec, allowed the participants to gain insights into the project-related opportunities of this Czech project partner and to develop initial ideas on transregional cooperation using the demonstrators and pilot lines available there.
