Who are you as institution? Tell us about your work.
Technology park Ljubljana Ltd (TPLj) accelerates commercialisation of knowledge and encourages entrepreneurship. It creates new high added values jobs and in doing so curbs Slovenian’s brain drain. TPLj also invests in knowledge and R&D either through EU-funded projects or by itself. TPLj’s achievements are recognised by many distinguished international institutions, among which are IASP, OECD, European Comission etc.
TPLj received, among others, the “John Shields Award” for contribution in development of innovation ecosystem in SEE and was in the TOP 3 chosen projects out of 343, within the European enterprise promotion award.
What is your intuition doing in the field of digital integrated healthcare?
TPLj is one of the founding members of the Healthday.si community, exclusively dedicated to promoting digital healthcare companies and institutions. TPLj also serves as the leader of the community and oversee its strategic vision. Healthday.si is first and foremost a platform for companies to network among each.other, share experience and help penetrate foreign markets. TPLj is also a proud partner in several Interreg initiatives on digital healthcare, such as COOP4HEALTHCARE Interreg SI-AT.
What is your role in digitalLIFE4CE?
TPLj will participate actively in the Alliances, established in the project. Through these Alliances, TPLj will raise awareness of digital healthcare solutions (public & private) mainly in Slovenia, but in cooperation with other partners, TPLj aims to reach larger Central European target.
What is your motivation for being partner in this project?
We believe that integrated digital healthcare is the only logical step for Healthcare system in the future. DigitalLIFE4CE project offers an opportunity to comprehensively, with international help, introduce such solutions is the Slovenian ecosystem, and thus helping the entrepreneurship ecosystem in general.
