Who are you as institution? Tell us about your work. 

Wroclaw Technology Park (WPT) is a company whose shareholders are the City of Wroclaw, the five largest universities in Wroclaw and the Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce. The main task of WPT is to support companies developing modern technologies in various fields. WPT has 12 specialized laboratories that are available to companies for research and development of products and services. WPT is also the coordinator of the NUTRBIOMED strategic cluster, gathering over 100 companies from all over Poland from the following industries: biomedicine, biotechnology, pharmacy, cosmetics, healthcare. 

What is your intuition doing in the field of digital integrated healthcare? 

WPT runs two business incubators for stat-ups. Incubators develop companies from the IT sector that provide services to the medical sector. Medical sector companies are an important part of the NUTRBIOMED cluster. WPT cooperates with regional self-government authorities of the Lower Silesia region on the implementation of projects and support for the digital integrated healthcare sector.

What is your role in digitalLIFE4CE? 

WPT is a project partner and Work Package 2 coordinator.

What is your motivation for being partner in this project? 

Exchange of good practices in digital healthcare management in Central Europe. Identification of partners for cooperation and implementation of joint projects from various sectors from the countries of Central Europe. Support for start-ups from various countries in the region. Participation in the development and implementation of a regional strategy for digitalization for healthcare, using the experience of other regions.
