The Boost4BSO project dealt with the "Industry 4.0/Advanced Manufacturing", which aims to improve knowledge building and sustainable knowledge transfer linkages between Central Europe and Business Support Organizations (BSOs).
The main objective of the project was to enable Central European BSOs as key actors of the innovation system to provide effective and efficient support services for local companies covering all key aspects of the transformation towards I4.0.
At the end of the project, the greatest effort was devoted to the pilot implementation of innovative BSO support with SMEs in partner regions/countries. Accordingly, all project partners with the support of associated partners provided pilot support to 31 selected SMEs. The satisfaction of the supported SME averaged 8.5 out of 10. In addition, considerable effort was associated with sustainability measures at the BSO level, such as the focus group and deployment guidelines, which aimed to ensure sustainable use and use and further deployment of the Building Program of Boost4BSO capacity.
The main activities and results were disseminated on the website and online channels of the project and individual PPs, as well as at networking events and the project's final conference.
