Let us introduce to you our work packages

  Work package 1

The work package 1 (https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/WP1-results-and-documents.html)     aimed to collected heterogeneous information (cadastral maps, building type, construction style, energy audit, CO2 emissions, heating looses, PV potential, etc.) of public buildings and developed a methodology to access and visualised those data within 3D city models. Geospatial databases, 3D building models, PV potential maps and heating looses information were thus generated to form the   contents of the 4th module of OnePlace, the project platform. The develop methodology considered the various needs of the involved pilot areas as well as the various types and formats of data. The   methodology could be now replicated with other data on other pilot action areas.

Work package 2

This work package 2 (https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/WP2-results-and-documents.html) created a unique online energy platform OnePlace (https://oneplace.fbk.eu), based on the actual needs of project partners and involved stakeholders. The platform consists of four different modules. A 3D Energy management system (3DEMS) enables visualisation and query of collected energy data and buildings’ information. The module was tested and validated by the 8 pilots. The Living Energy Marketplace module collected links to databases helping energy end-users to make an energy-wise purchase of electronic devices and connecting them to experts in the field of architecture, engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energy sources etc in each participating country. Energy Efficient Cities module enables the exchange of experience and good practices between cities for public authorities, municipalities and other public actors. Financing Energy Efficiency module is an attractive visual presentation of the transnational strategy outcomes (financial road map), examples of best practices and practical steps to use the national and EU-level resources, assisting local authorities and public bodies at their engagement in financing energy efficiency.
To encourage the cooperation on shared challenges in Central Europe and disseminate the OnePlace, two transnational training seminars were organized in 2019 for the partnership and other stakeholders to act as ambassadors for the implementation of the platform. Also several national / local trainings were conducted by the partners. A training material was created for the use on transnational level, but also an adopted national version is available for the participating countries. Trainings gave a valuable feedback to the platform and the training material.

  Work package 3

The purpose of work package 3 (https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/WP3-results-and-     documents.html) was to prepare, implement and evaluate pilot actions (https://www.interreg-   central.eu/Content.Node/BOOSTEE-CE-Pilot-action-fact-sheets.html) on improving energy efficiency in   public buildings in the Emilia-Romagna region(IT), Municipality of Judenburg (AT), Zlin region (CZ), Municipality of Tolna (HU), City and Municipality of Płońsk (PL), City of Koprivnica (HR), Municipality of   Velenje (SI) and Municipality of Lubawka and Municipality of Žacléř (PL / CZ). The pilots focused on   identifying and testing solutions for intelligent energy management and modernization of buildings as well as raising energy awareness among the local community, which can then be extrapolated to other   CE territories adapting to real conditions. Pilot actions also tested and used OnePlace.

Work package 4

Financing energy efficiency part (https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/WP4-results-and-documents.html) consists of several mutually interlinked outputs which altogether give a complex idea on Financing energy efficiency from municipality perspective. The main parts of this work package include:
Comparative analysis of financial schema which is an analysis of differences among financial schema in partner countries, considering EU grants/funds, possible normative obstacles, investment return, models, etc. The document also highlights market-enabling actions for large investments.
Transnational EE financing strategy  which defines, structures and reviews the existing energy financing solutions and models that are or will be in the future the important enablers for EE and energy savings in public infrastructures. The strategy assesses the potential of different financial models and gives  recommendations, also based on BOOSTEE-CE pilot action outcomes.
Transnational methodological framework is a common  transnational template  of  energy  efficiency  financing  roadmaps  with  guidelines  for  their specific  contents  and structure.  The aim of the financial roadmap is to help public authorities to deal with many different financing grants in the EE domain. The methodological framework builds upon the practical knowledge of public institutions (project partners and potential stakeholders) and provides an overview of financing models used to finance EE upgrades in the public sector.
Energy efficiency financing roadmaps for the project Pilot Actions - Financing roadmaps designed to achieve a desired goal of energy efficiency in public infrastructures in specific towns / municipalities in IT, AU, CZ, HU, SI, PL, HR partner countries.
Best practices and investments return models which BOOSTEE-CE consortium have collected. They include examples from their countries on various financial investments return models through which market-enabling actions for large investments are highlighted.
All above mentioned outputs are also visualised on the BOOSTEE-CE OnePlace Platform (https://oneplace.fbk.eu) in the section Financing Energy Efficiency Module.
