CEETO at EUROPARC Conference 2017 - Magic Mountains Portugal
information on CEETO project was presented in the Market Place at EUROPARC Conference 2017, among a crowd of participants that were willing to get information and delicassies in the various stalls.
In the year declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, the EUROPARC Conference was hosted by the Portuguese region of the Magic Mountains – a Sustainable Destination awarded with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas, since 2013.
CEETO project was presented at the Market Place (9th September 2017) amongst the various activities that are implemented by the EUROPARC Federation. The event was an occasion to share with the over 300 delegates from 37 nationalities (including countries such as Brazil, Egypt and the United States).
The International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development announced by the United Nations for 2017 was an important background reference for some of the discussions held in the technical workshops, speakers corner and market place.
