CRIT Networking Day Autumn 2019

On 17th October 2019, CRIT organised their annual Networking Event titled “Transformation and Innovation experiences: when digitalisation brings value?”, addressed to its Network of Endorsed Suppliers (NFA).

The event, which gathered about 100 people from SMEs and large companies of the territory, was an occasion to discuss about the impact of digitalisation in factories. Indeed, many companies are now facing what Klaus Schwab defined as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, when technologies represent the meeting point of a deeper and more strategic transformation which envisages the emergence of alternative models where processes, products, services and business models change.

In this phase of imminent change, it is important to reflect on the value asset's repositioning, that is the level of strategy, with respect to business goals, fully reached through ICT investments.  The NFA companies discussed together about the business models change in relation with progress in technologies and innovation.

On the occasion, CRIT presented the opportunity envisaged by the SYNERGY SCI Platform for companies as a space for enhancing open innovation and support organisations in dealing with common challenges through digitalisation means and cross-country cooperation.
