The (Almost) Complete Guidebook to Crowdfunding for SMEs
Project Output
This free publication provides over 200 pages of tips and tools for launching and managing a Crowdfunding campaign. The guidebook is authored by Karsten Wenzlaff and Wolfgang Gumpelmaier-Mach of the Berlin based Institut für Kommunikation in Sozialen Medien (ikosom). Gumpelmaier-Mach and Wenzlaff are two of the Crowdfunding pioneers in the German-speaking world, who consulted Crowdfunding campaigns for almost a decade and worked with thousands of creatives and entrepreneurs. The duo are now sharing their experience in this guide book as part of the Interreg Central Europe project CROWD-FUND-PORT.
"The (almost) complete Guidebook to Crowdfunding for SMEs" is the first publication that describes in detail how a Crowdfunding campaign should be structured and prepared. The handbook is aimed at experienced Crowdfunding experts as well as newcomers to Crowdfunding. In several chapters practical insights and hands-on tips are listed in combination with numerous best practice examples from Germany, Europe and the world. It is based on workshop materials for future Crowdfunding consultants and coaches who have been trained by the project-partners of CROWD-FUND-PORT to give small and medium-sized enterprises access to alternative forms of financing.
