Are you currently in the process of developing a pilot measure for energy efficient PT infrastructure or adopting innovative technologies? If yes, apply now!
A key part of the project is the pilot application of novel energy saving technologies in public transport infrastructures, being "first-of-its-kind" in Central Europe ranging from renewable energy integration intro metro stations (Vienna) and trolley depots (Gdynia) to upgrade a substation for multipurpose use of existing public transport infrastructure (Maribor). The solutions will be shown through virtual site visits.

The selected public transport authorities/companies will benefit from a knowledge transfer scheme thorugh an online discussion, exchanging with one of the EfficienCE project's partners on one of the following topics:
- Implementation of photovoltaic integration at a metro station
- Using recuperated braking energy and renewable energy sources to power the trolley depot
- Upgrade of an existing cable car substation and integration of an e-bus fast charger
