Workshop to Strengthen Multimodal Transport in the Chemical Industry in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
On 10th of September, the Ministry for Regional Development and Transport of Saxony-Anhalt is organising a workshop in the Bitterfeld-Wolfen Chemical Park. This workshop is part of a series of pilot workshops that have already been successfully completed during the pilot phase of the project with the aim to strengthen multimodal transport in the chemical industry. Together with companies and logistics service providers, the development of new combined transport connections and potentials for modal shift are discussed. In addition, the achieved results of the pilot phase will be presented and an outlook on the further project activities will be given. Further presentations will highlight current trends in track price reductions and funding opportunities for multimodal transport.
