Communities’ Week –7-13th of May 2018
26 May 2018 | Szombathely (Hungary)
‘A real community can be only created where people love each other in a mysterious way. In one word, they are friends. Beyond all interests, religions, politics, social situations and beliefs.’ (Müller Péter)
It was not the first time that Communities’ Week had been organised in Hungary connected to which a small local community surprised citizens with an unexpected action on the Main Square of Szombathely. The flash mob named ‘Golden auction’ aims to call the attention of inhabitants to their initiative and to active community involvement. During the flash mob, old vinyls sprayed with gold paint were reinterpreted as non-trash relics.
