E-institute is a non-profit institute in Slovenia with mission to improve human well-being through sustainable development. Our activities are implemented through projects focusing on business support, open innovation, social innovation and low carbon society. We believe cooperation and co-creation is the key for solving the challenges of modern world. Our key competences are in open innovation, living labs, sustainability assessments, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Recent focus of E-institute’s work has been done to support Smart communities and develop regional economy towards Innovation 2.0 concept and bring it even on the higher level.
E-institute team is multidisciplinary with rich experiences in project management. E-institute
cooperates with the most important Slovenian public authorities, private sector and
research institutes. Over last 5 years E-institute was partner or lead partner in 17 EU funded
projects bringing together more than 100 partners from 20 EU member states.
