ENES-CE approach presented at the cross-border knowledge sharing event

23.6.2021

Today ENES-CE project was presented at the online cross-border twinning event between HU and SI.

The event, organised as part of Green Line project and Green Capacity initiative, was dedicated to sharing best practices in the field of energy transition, with a particular focus on public institutions and the role they play as enablers in the journey to carbon neutrality.

E-zavod's team have shared the ENES-CE approach and insights gained by partners in the process of realising the project. Overall, the importance of co-creation of energy plans with citizens and other relevant non-governmental stakeholders was emphasised, to motivate and empower community-wide activation and to ultimately enable the scale of implementation needed for the energy transition to truly happen.

More than 20 participants were present, ranging from local authorities to other public institutions that are supporting, in their capacity, the energy transitions.

The Green Line project and its Green Capacity Initiative is focused on the long-term transfer of knowledge and experience that will lead to increase of capacities and institutional cooperation abilities and better cross-border relations (between partners, municipalities, public organizations) in the field of environmental protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
