SECAP Prelog presented at SEPlaM-CC projects' cross-border networking event

Medjimurje Energy Agency Ltd. has on Tuesday, June 8th 2021, organised a cross border networking event within project SEPlaM-CC - Raising capacity of cross-border public institutions in sustainable energy planning and management and climate change mitigation, which is being implemented through Interreg V-A Hungary – Croatia cross-border cooperation programme.
In the part of the event reserved for panel discussion, Mr. Miroslav Hržić, from Town of Prelog was speaking about the development of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) of Town of Prelog. This document has been developed within the activities of ENES-CE project and important topic was that the whole process was oriented towards including citizens and other relevant non-governmental stakeholders (NGOs, SMEs, etc.).
Apart from the SECAP, the pilot investment, chosen as the most relevant measure, that will be installed on the roof of one public building in Prelog, has also been mentioned and briefly presented.
The event has gathered 31 participants from Hungary and Croatia, mostly from the cross-border area (Zala and Medjimurje Counties).
The main objective of SEPlaM-CC project is raising capacity of cross-border public institutions in sustainable energy planning and management and climate change mitigation by exchange of experience, knowledge and best practice examples. Project partners are Medjimurje Energy Agency Ltd. and Zala County Foundation for Enterprise Promotion and it will be implemented through 20 months, until February, 2022.
