The Easter Social Economy Fairs
The lively Easter Social Economy Fairs took place in Shopping Centre Plaza in Rzeszów on 13 April 2019. 25 social enterprises and social economy entities offered their products and services.
The employees and participants (including disabled people) of Occupational Therapy Workshops, Professional Activity Establishments, social cooperatives, centers of social integration, foundations and associations prepared hand-made Easter products such as eggs, decorations, wreaths, lambs, palm trees, confectionery, wicker baskets, wooden and gypsum products and much more. The traditional Easter food was prepared by ZAZ Rzeszów. The social cooperative “The adventure island” created a special playground where children could take part in many competitions, games and have fun with animators.
The Social Economy Fairs is organized twice a year by Regional Centre of Social Policy in Rzeszów in the frame of the project “Coordination of social economy sector in the Podkarpackie voivodship” co-financed by ESF. The aim of the event is to promote social enterprises and to show that their products and services are top quality. The fairs convince people that by choosing social enterprises’ products, we support the social and labor reintegration of excluded people such as disabled or long term unemployed.
